INSIDER TIPS | • Visit during the Rusholme Curry Mile Festival in November for special discounts and events. • Check out famous restaurants like Mughli and Shere Khan. |
As a self-proclaimed curry aficionado, I can attest that Rusholme’s Curry Mile is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to warm up with some delicious comfort food during the winter months.
Located just a stone’s throw away from Manchester’s city centre, this lively street boasts an impressive selection of Indian and Pakistani restaurants serving up a range of mouthwatering dishes.
When the weather outside is frightful, there’s nothing quite like a piping hot bowl of curry to warm you up from the inside out. And with its extensive selection of restaurants, Rusholme’s Curry Mile has something to offer for everyone’s taste buds.
Personally, I always go for the chicken tikka masala – it’s a classic for a reason, after all. But if you’re feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying the lamb balti or the spicy vindaloo.
And with many of the restaurants open late into the night, the Curry Mile is the perfect spot to cosy up with friends and family over a warm and satisfying meal.
