Overall, we believe that their deals are ideal for customers who are budget-conscious! 

However, we are disappointed to hear that some customers have had issues with returning defective items. For instance, some even had to contact the manufacturer themselves after not getting speedy help from the store. 

Aside from this minor issue, we’re glad that there seems to be no other significant complaint about the store. Just check your items thoroughly before leaving the store or as soon as you receive the parcel.

Stormforce Gaming is an ideal store for those looking for a gaming PC. We’re impressed that they offer a wide range of products, including PC sets, monitors, keyboards, and other accessories.

In our books, Stormforce is a one-stop-shop for Mancunians with all types of gaming needs!

We also like that their customers can choose from packages at different price points, ranging from below £1000 to over £3000. This gives excellent options for budget-conscious gamers.

However, for those looking for a casual personal computer, Stormforce Gaming may not be the best option. Most of their sets are geared towards gamers and other heavy users.

Another thing that keeps us positive about them is their knowledgeable and helpful technical team. We learned that they can assist both experienced and first-time buyers with ease. 

Apart from this, we also give them plus points since their customer service is excellent, with responsive and helpful staff members on the phone, online, and in-store.

But, what truly sets them apart is that their customers can also take advantage of their quick delivery services for orders placed before 2:00 pm during the weekday. According to their regulars, most orders received the day after the order was placed!

PC Centre Northwest offers a wide range of products, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and more.

We like that they also offer software products to ensure that customers have everything they need to get started with their new devices. We believe that this makes it an ideal destination for customers who want plug-and-play products. 

The store is also known for its repair services, which is great for customers who need assistance in maintaining their computers and accessories. However, we’re a bit iffy that the quality of their repair services has received mixed reviews from customers. 

Some have mentioned that their computer had bigger issues than before. On the other hand, most are happy with the service they received.

However, we noticed that most customers who had issues with them had Apple products. That said, we can’t recommend them for repairs if you’re a Mac user.

On the upside, one of the standout features of this shop is the helpful and patient in-store staff members who are willing to guide customers through the buying process. 

According to the customers we spoke with, they appreciate the expertise and knowledge of the staff members who helped them make informed decisions about their purchases.

We also think it’s notable that PC Centre Northwest also has an organised online catalogue that makes it easy for customers to browse through their products. 

Their online store even has a compare feature, which allows customers to assess the products they are interested in and compare them to each other — so we give them plus points for that.

We think Currys stands out because of their multiple branches across accessible locations in Manchester. With this, we can confidently say that this computer store is a reliable option for those who prefer to shop in-store.

For this review, we focused on the branch located in Arndale Shopping Centre since this is the branch with the most foot traffic. We believe that one of the reasons for this is that they are open every day of the week, including Sundays.

This is also a big plus as many computer stores in the area are closed on Sundays, making it difficult for customers to shop on their day off.

When it comes to their product selection, they offer a wide range of electronics, including computers, appliances, and other gadgets. However, it is important to note that most of the available items are for casual computer users.

Unfortunately, they may not carry hard-to-find computer products since they are not a specialised computer store. 

On top of this, we’re quite disappointed that their staff members are also not as technically knowledgeable when it comes to computers when compared to others in the area.

Nonetheless, we highly appreciate that Curry’s accepts multiple payments and even offers instalment plans! Due to this, we think they’re a great option for cost-conscious customers who want to spread the cost of their purchase over time.

We believe that Computer Empire is a great option for those looking for a long-term go-to computer store since they retail and repair computers and parts.

This means that customers can purchase their computers here and have them repaired or serviced in the same place, making it convenient for those looking for a one-stop shop.

We also like that they have a wide selection of personal computers and laptops that can cater to both casual and heavy users.

Additionally, Computer Empire offers accessories like adapters, headphones, car kits, and more. We’re also impressed that they carry various reputable accessory brands like Kingston, AOC, and many more.

However, we did find that their online catalogue offers few selections and is a bit disorganised. It may be best to shop in-store instead.

Luckily, Computer Empire’s physical shop is conveniently located at Stockport Road.

On top of this, we also learned that their store staff members are approachable and patient. In fact,  many customers mentioned that they felt at ease and that the staff members were genuinely helpful in guiding them to make the right choice

We believe that this is especially important for buyers who may need a lot of assistance when purchasing computers or accessories.

Furthermore, when we compared their rates to other stores, we learned that they offer lower prices. Overall, we think Computer Empire is a great option for those looking to score a good deal for computers in Manchester.
