Hinterland Bar in the Northern Quarter brings out all the creativity in their cocktails but without being in tatters the morning after! They deliver alcohol-free cocktails, NOT mocktails, bringing you all the flavours of alcohol but without the alcohol.

This bar serves up a storm with a menu full of non-alcoholic drinks, including beer, wines, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. One example is the Pathfinder NoGroni, which tastes bitter and strong, just like the original, but without the gin.

That’s not all they offer! The menu has all the proper bar options, but this time, they’re vegan!

Guess what else? Your pooch is welcome inside because the bar is dog-friendly. Hopefully, they can add a doggie cocktail for our furry friends!

Pro Tip:
Check out the upcoming events at the bar if you want acoustic sessions and open mic poetry. These are ticketed, so don’t miss the registration online.

Experience delightful times at Feel Good Club, located on the corner of Hilton Street and Port Street. It provides exactly what it promises: a chill yet buzzing space where calories aren’t present on the menu and where the bevvies are playful and delicious.

The bar is spacious—it doesn’t feel cramped even with a full house. One feature that had us smiling was that it’s dog-friendly, and honestly, these pooches are the best kind of customers you’ll encounter!

Their non-alcoholic drinks are only £7, although there aren’t loads of options. It’s not a bother, really, because every month, the bar has a curated selection of non-alcoholic beverages, including beers and wines.

Pro Tip:
There’s something happening every month at this bar. Check their Instagram for workshops, activities, and LGBTQ+-friendly events!

We were over the moon with Slug & Lettuce because they have several venues in Manchester. Hunting for non-alcoholic drinks will always be easy in the city. The one in Deansgate is gorgeously decorated—trendy yet a bit fancy.

One of their most notable things on the menu is their all-day, everyday 2-for-1 cocktails—and yes, this also applies to mocktails! It’s best to bring your mate so you can order two of the same cocktails and pay for the price of one—take that, economy!

The variety is pretty ace, especially for a bar that’s not 100% alcohol-free. Their no-booze drinks include the refreshingly bittersweet Italian Spritz and Elderflower Fizz, which has a light taste with hints of floral.

Pro Tip:
The themed brunches here are brilliant. But before booking, contact the staff if their current brunch event includes non-alcoholic drinks or mocktails.

When you want a change of pace from the usual bars in Manchester, you need to take a look at Finders Keepers. It’s located in front of the New Islington Marina, offering more mellow afternoons and quiet nights since you’re not smack in the middle of the city.

They don’t exactly have a large selection of booze-free drinks, but it’s enough for a single person or a small group. They’re high-quality, mind you, which is no shocker since they specialise in cocktails.

While they don’t serve food, there are a few snacks available to add texture while you’re enjoying your cocktail. The venue also wins because it’s dog-friendly and wheelchair-accessible!

Pro Tip:
Eat a proper meal first before going here for cocktails because there’s really no food on the menu (you just get flatbread, olives, crackers, and a snack mix). Don’t be like us and go hungry!

This city centre spot is a bit of a one-off. Cafe Beermoth is not your usual pub because they serve beer and coffee, like a pub and coffee shop in one for the mature crowd! With a huge collection of pints, finding an alcohol-free option is no biggie!

You wouldn’t expect anything less from a place with loads of local and international beers. But what makes this unique is the variety of drinks for a chill, booze-free experience, including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

The vibe is brilliantly designed, as it doesn’t alienate alcohol and non-alcohol drinkers. It feels more like a refined pub but with a neighbourhood coffee shop atmosphere—it’s very chill and absolutely smashing for those no-work weekends!

Pro Tip:
Don’t hesitate to ask the bartender what they have in the fridge. Sometimes, you might find alcohol-free beers that aren’t on the menu.

The refined industrial vibe of Blinker Bar makes drinking here a fantastic experience. Add that with a changing menu, locally sourced ingredients, and creatively combined alcohol-free cocktails, and they’re golden!

Even with a small list of no-alcohol cocktails, it’s still a pleasant bar to pop into. They don’t serve ridiculously expensive mocktails, by the way, but stick to sober cocktails by using non-alcoholic alternatives, like the Three Spirit Livener.

As a proper no-alcohol cocktail bar in Manchester, the venue is very fitting for low-key affairs, like casual dates or catching up with your mates. Every detail is well-thought-out, from the ambience to the ice stamps!

Pro Tip:
Visit a bit earlier than peak hours to get a seat at the booth, which offers more privacy than other tables and is way more comfortable than sitting on a stool.

You can’t go wrong with a bar that knows how to put on a show. The UK’s love for theatre is translated into drinks at The Alchemist, a spot for the dramatic, where the bevvies know how to knock your socks off!

With plenty of banging low and no-alcohol options, you won’t have to drink yourself silly!

There are also a couple of no-booze beers, like the Heineken 0.0—but seriously, you’re missing out on the theatrics if you skip the non-alc cocktails!

They sucked us in with their alcohol-free alternatives that use Three Spirit Liveners, like the very scientific-looking Eureka Moment, which is the alcohol-free version of Lightbulb Moment.

And with three venues in Manchester? Your Dry January will be like a Sunday stroll!

Pro Tip:
Arrange a get-together with your mates. From Thursday to Sunday, The Alchemist has a live DJ for absolutely smashing tracks!

Video game nerds will have a cracking time at Pixel Bar, where the mocktails are Pokemon-inspired and come with a Pokemon card! With vibrant, alcohol-free drinks, you won’t get hammered while playing and can actually beat your mates in Mario Kart!

The menu is filled with food you’d exactly crave while playing—juicy and oily. The Pixel Pepperoni and Classic Nachos are good enough for sharing, and most are available with vegan alternatives.

Give the booths a go, which includes one hour of playtime that comes with three console options: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The ambience and the games will have you hooked because you’re having fun with fellow gamers!

Pro Tip:
Book the console booth in advance because the place gets packed. On weekends, finding an available booth will be tough if you just pop in.

Sadler’s Cat is a hidden gem in the NOMA neighbourhood, a community pub with a very neighbourly atmosphere. It has limited space, but it brings forth a light and breezy experience, the kind where you just kick back with a non-alc pint in hand.

Alcohol-free beers are in short supply, however. But it’s still enough to choose from for after-work drinks with your mates. And on days when the sun’s out, sitting in the beer garden is a brilliant idea!

It’s a sweet spot for a booze-free pub crawl, too! It’s a short walk to Victoria Station!

Pro Tip:
For after-work and weekend pub visits, a booking is highly recommended because seating is limited.
